Private lessons are the best way to make the most out of your surfing experience.

The whole session can be tailored to your own specific needs with in depth coaching; detailed wave feedbacks as well as one on one assistance to help you catch the best waves.

Whether you’re learning for the first time or a seasoned surfer, private surf lesson are tailored to your specific needs and ability to get the most out of your surfing experience.

Group lessons:

If you’re new to surfing or you’re looking to improve, Group lessons are a great introduction to surfing.

After kitting up, and before heading into the water, a 10-20 minute beach talk will provide you all the basic knowledge you need to put into practice and get you up and riding.

Once in the water our instructors will give you induvial feedback of your waves, things that you’re doing well and things that you can aim to improve on.

Location - Westward Waves Surf School

Westward Waves Surf School operates out of Sandymere car park in Westward Ho! Located next to the pebble ridge walk way at middle end of the beach.

Westward Ho! Is the perfect beach for learning to surf. With the sandy beach being very flat, the waves break further out to sea and roll gently in giving you a far longer ride than other beaches around and ultimately more time to get to your feet. Westward Ho! Provides a safe environment for learning to surf, made even safer by the RNLI who patrol the beach through the summer months.
